Helen is a British actor, writer and performance coach based in LA with 15 + years experience working in film, TV, voiceover and improv and is a professional member of BAFTA LA. An emerging name in the video game world too having voiced characters for "World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands", "Racoon Lagoon" (Oculus) and one of the leading roles in an exciting new Japanese Video Game (confidential until release).

 

Helen trained kids (4-18 yrs) in acting-for-screen at The Pauline Quirke Academy (PQA) UK and mentors children as part of Sony Pictures' charity “Young Storytellers” in LA.

Writing/performing credits include developing her sitcom “The Players” with BBC Comedy, sketches for the award-winning comedy show “News Revue” at the prestigious Canal Cafe, London, performing her own material at The Canal Cafe and writing, producing and starring in the bitingly satirical comedy short “Whore: Table #6”.

 

Film work includes WW2 drama "A Call To Spy” directed by Lydia Dean Pilcher (Edinburgh International), 1980s surreal comedy “VHyes” (Fantastic Fest) directed by Jack Henry and Tim Robbins and “86 Melrose Avenue” directed by Lili Matta (for which Helen won the Best Supporting Actress Award 2020). Short films include the Cannes nominated “Safari” directed by Yayo Herrero for which Helen won a Best Actress Award at The Festival De Cine D'Alfas Del Pi. 

Helen coaches actors on voice, performance and British accents via Zoom - she loves making actors feel super confident while focussing on their personal development goals and having fun!
